One of the coolest places I've ever been. Most of the 1-star reviews that are left for this place are people with no common sense lol. Cats sleep like 23 hours a day and are nocturnal so yeah, lots of them will be asleep. They're not waiting around to entertain you and your kids. Also, why would anyone think it's okay to bring their own personal cat from home and random treats from their house? πŸ˜πŸ™ people are so weird. The point of this place isn't a cafe, it's for cat rescue and adoption. So yeah, there's not a barista and you have to pay to hang with the cats. Pretty simple logic. And they do accept walk ins, and we loved the staff when we went. So yeah, don't listen to any or the few one stars. This place is amazing and doing great work.

I was at the Cat house recently and what a day it was! First, I got to see two incoming cats and the excitement of the staff welcomjng them. Second, I got to see one cat go to her forever home and their bittersweet feelings and mixed emotions. The staff is warm and welcoming and friendly. The cats are warm and welcoming and friendly. It is so obvious that the people who work and volunteer with these cats love them deeply. And it shows - the floors are clean, there are no odors, food bowls and water are full, the cats are showered with love and attention from guests and staff alike, and they have so many toys. They have many structures and toys and even a fish tank. I know this is a temporary spot for these cats and I think they make it the very best it can be. They partner with a few rescues, I previously adopted from one of them and I know the process is direct, easy, but very thorough. I love supporting small cats and I love supporting small businesses and this place is both! Whether you are looking to adopt or simply need some cat therapy, this place is great, I know I will be back.

The best experience of our lives! We went there today with my boyfriend and we love the place, they take so much care of the cats, they explain to you how to be respectful and how to interact with the cats respectfully. We 100% recommend to come :)

I've gone to The Cat House a few times now and attended an event there. This is a perfect addition for the Roselle area. The place was clean and the staff is very helpful - explaining things about the adoptable cats and giving us tips for caring for our cats at home. I bought some items at their boutique for Christmas stockings - it has unique items for cat lovers. I brought out of town guests and they loved just hanging with the cats! I will go back.
